The West is wide open. No dominant team there. Edmonton should push all in.

And UPL is essentially a rookie. A rookie on a team with bad team defense that does not insulate him. That is not to say there are no flaws in his game, but bringing in a guy like Talbot is going to do minimal imo. A guy like Saros is going to cost an arm and a leg but that would move the needle. So it's either stand pat with what you have or give up a ton. I know what I expect from KA.

Not trying to defend the goalies, but it does seem the park the bus philosophy is out the window. Skating and high event hockey is Donnie’s calling card with this roster. Playing like that leaves you vulnerable to counter attacks.

when the leafs put 5 by the sabres last tuesday it was tavares, ror, ror, nylander and bunting

we put 6 past the bolts and Lyubushkin and girgens gets 2 of them


the 5 scored on comrie in that game was by stamkos, point, hedman, cirelli and colton


my point is scrubs are not the ones burying goals on the sabres in those lopsided losses

Sabres are 21st in high danger chance percentage and number of high danger chances given up. Outside of getting a top goaltender for a king's ransom the best way to fix the goaltending is to fix the defense. That's likely not happening during the season, so we're going to roll with what we have. This will be an off-season issue to deal with

He's a vet. 700 games played. UPL has 38 games played in the NHL. Give the kid a break. Just like Samuelsson. Ppl were ready to have his head, plays 2 great physical teams and out muscles them.

Youngest Team in the league. The kids take time.
