Well that's what he does, he pushes Joker down to 3rd pair with Lyubushkin and your 3LD is taken care of - Buff36
Neither Joker or Boosh plays the left so thats wrong.
Ekholm would be 3rd pair if that trade was made. Run 3 pairs more equally. |

That goal is helped by the Tampa goaltender probably wanting that one back.
Last night was not his finest hour. - kingcong39
We're allowed to be on the fun side of bad goaltending on occasion too. |

Sabres 42 hits
Tampa 42 hits, with some cheap shots - joevthree
Good pull Joe 3 👍
I imagine last night was probably the most hits of the year and only time we weren't out hit? |

Okposo buried Ian Cole from behind at the beginning of the 3rd period. Nothing viscous, but certainly from behind. |

No doubt. A total surprise to hear.
Lot of expectations put on him right since the draft.
I’m sure dealing with all of that is part of whatever he now needs help with. - Ratsreign
Could I interest you in a slightly used craig Anderson.
Runs great, no rust, southern goalie... |

Counter point, it wouldnt hurt to have a Teppo-type veteran mentor on the backend with all the young guys - Hank Balling
You think teppo's still available?
Seams like an odd angle 😉 |

I agree thats missing. We need a veteran presence back there but Ekholm is getting to that age where play and speed could drop off at any moment. Sign that type of player as a free agent? Sure! Trade away a 1st? Thats tough. |

Krebs. I think of Krebs as the left handed briere all the Time - Sabretooth9
I'm really loving krebs game. He's a fun guy to watch and he could be a serious core player.
Seasoned a little on the dad line, learned and is now excelling higher in the lineup.
That's why we have our captains, they teach on and off the ice. You see the work ethic with krebs. |

I bet Teppo could still log 7 mins a night of useful hockey. Guy was a specimen.
Ekholm is an alternate captain with 3.5 years left on his deal. He's the perfect kind of target imo. They need a top-4 d, high-character vet with experience who is under contract |

Krebs got destroyed for making that play. I don’t think he’ll ever have a lot of scoring ability, but he’s a good glue guy. I’m a fan since that play he made last night. |

Schenn would be a perfect, how about this trade.
Portillo, Johnson (assuming he tells mgnt he is not signing in bflo) and a second for Schenn and Demko.
Van gets a great goalie porspect and cap space, we get a solid D-man and a starting goalie and we really aint giving up that much... - hehateme
easy no - Johnson looks to be signing and Demko might not be able to play this year due to the injury |

I'd be defending his front door...with Tom Wilson right there I'd imagine. - lacaprup
I'm with you.
I like the potential savoie might have, but it's just that - potential. It's not depleting our forward prospect pool completely and he might not materialize into anything anyways. He's still another CHL year away from the AHL at the rate it's going and we could use help for this push and next year...
I'd probably prefer to offer up Ostlund, Mitts, and a top 20 protected 1st this year. |

That Athletic article on Russell Wilson is insane
Good luck, Denver.
100% convinced Wilson called his own number in the Super Bowl against New England because he wanted the glory, he Jim Kelly’d it…
What a goon. |

I am a broncos fan and he ruined our season. An average QB and denver makes the playoffs with that defense.
The guy is a waste. What a disaster of a signing.

I can’t post just the pic of Krebs that is at the top of the article, but is worth the click
