I think we are already past adding depth players. Hinestroza was buried in Rochester and he is a completely solid depth player. It's only getting more crowded when Ostlund, Rosen, Kulich, Savoie et all start arriving. You only have 20-25 guys. I could see good players like Jost and Mittelstadt becoming numbers casualties in the next 1-2 years

At this point this team should be looking for difference makers, which is a wonderful place to be.

IMO Compher is better than Vinnie by leaps and bounds, and is better than Jost as well. I'm fine with Jost on the 4th and Compher being the anchor of the 3rd. Compher is a guy that you want to play a skill role and move up to 2C for a bit, sure thing. You want him to go against the top line and out work them? Got it. I'll admit I am not very well versed on the Avs, but whenever I do what them play he is noticeable.

Biggest issue with getting him is I believe this will be his first year as a UFA. So he's currently at like 3.5, would expect him to get a nice bump in the open market. Maybe 5. Seems like a lot but in free agency they always get more than they should.

St. Augustine is fantastic. Since a bunch of my family moved to the Palm Coast area, I've gone quite a few times. It's turned into a night before Thanksgiving tradition the past 2 years.

Oh man I see it on my timehop every year freaking out about that ROR trade. I hated it at the time. Hated giving up the 1st, hated giving up Compher, hated ROR honestly. ROR grew on me and I think he was great but man I was against that trade. And now I want him back. So maybe it is still a thing about me not wanting to let go.
