I think they are trying to balance that with also saying look we have a real shot right now and that matters. I'm on record saying I don't fault UPL for what has happened this season, but if you bring in another guy and he can be your top guy for the next 20 games and you need to move a guy down, UPL is that guy. He's a rookie, rookies go to Rochester sometimes. It's not them giving up on him, it's them saying look take what you've learned and keep growing, you'll be back soon enough. If they do it, it's not the worst thing in the world.

That said, if they trade away Anderson I don't know if there's a point to sending him down. You only do that if you need the roster spot

Took way too long to move on from Bryson + Fitz, will never understand their confidence in those 2. Clague was just a depth guy slightly better than them, not a solution.

This guy isn’t better than clague, honestly he may be worse. Hopefully it’s a Rochester depth move and he can be sent to Rochester.

This better not eliminate trading for a real dman like chychrun or Jensen as this guy is absolutely no better than a 7/8

Honestly that's what you always get from him. I like that he gets us views into the Sabres prospects, but it's not a very critical view.

Bloom could have been something, but I don't think he was going to surpass the forwards we had. That said, probably would have wanted more from trading him away but that's just me.
