Been playing for 29 years and I love to play anything and everything that sounds good to me! I love to keep an open mind, being a musician, I’m really only limiting my capacity and capabilities if I have a narrow focus!!

I also have been re-learning the entire Steve Vai Alien Love Secrets album…..and the Pantera albums Cowboys From Hell and Vulgar display of Power

Honestly, it’s what I wanted to do for a living and went for it!! But being in Canada makes it exponentially more unlikely unless you move to the states. Even then, good luck! Lol!

Either way, I’ve practiced 12 hours a day and had to go to the chiropractor at 18 after only 2 years of playing!! Lol! So technical aspects like posture and technique equate to longevity.

You don’t want an RSI, arthritis or muscle fatigue due to not warming up.

Also…..I’m the resident guitar super nerd 🤦🏻‍♂️😂🤣

this has been documented and well-established, yes . I think anyone that is able to pay rent and live off the money they're making as any kind of musician is very lucky, you gotta be in the right place at the right time, it definitely isn't easy.

Actually, I’ve been off for the last year due to severe depression and anxiety and had to support myself for about 8-9 months without benefits and had to hire lawyers and whatnot. I’m a manager and accredited professional.

It’s not easy to talk about, but I love to work, and my doctor basically laid it out for me like this “You’re going to die”. So I had to do something.
