The fact that Comcast is still hanging on to Chuck going into the TDL is the cornerstone of what's wrong with this franchise. Doesn't matter who the coach is or what tactics he uses to motivate players. This team is destined to become a basement dweller for a long time to come. And, one day when they get competent people in charge (LOL), those taking over will be looking at an East Palestine-like disaster that will take years to clean up. I am not optimistic for the next 5 - 7 years, or more.

Isn’t it great? What the bumbling flyers fail to realize is even flyer fans are hockey fans. Why would they continue to accept this poopshow when can easily turn another game on. Once you do that it becomes easier to just tune into league as a whole. This team blows and should be ridiculed at every turn. They do nada right.

It’s always a risk to give a young player term and salary. I think it could still workout for him but it’s pretty iffy. Torts had problems with Lacavalier before they resolved things and won a Cup. Todays players are different and I think Farabee sees more of the same instead of a reset.
