Well, that was a rough one. My dad had surgery tonight and I was watching the game in the waiting room. Surgery was a success, so afterwards I told him I offered up suffering watching the Flyers to balance out his suffering in the hospital. He's been a fan way longer than me so he appreciated my sacrifice.

Prayers that this happens! Results obviously won't be immediate, but it would be a step in the right direction. I never root for them to lose but I'm glad we didn't go on a win streak to give the Comcast clowns the illusion that we can make a run.

Thanks so much and yes, there are more important things out there than sports. That said, I missed parts of the game but was glad and interested to see Desnoyers out there. Time to look at the future. We have a long way to go but interested to see what the kids can do.

I haven't said anything about the game tonight cause I didn't see the game. We were out enjoying a nice Saturday evening, but when I saw the 7-0 final the first thought that came to my mind is how many years will it be until the Flyers have a better roster than the Devils? The Devils are young and not even close to their peak (they have young guys that will be coming up soon). This thought made me shudder in my boots. Granted, the Flyers are battling lots of injuries and the Devils are healthy, but the discrepancy in these rosters is downright scary when you really think about it.

On another note, I see that Angelo was a -4. I swear this guy is Yandle with a little better offensive upside.

I missed the presser but yea, TDA has his issues. I actually like the guy and and at least he has a physical aspect to his game as opposed to egg shells Yandle. TDA would be fine on a good team as a 3/4 guy but Flyers somehow thought he'd solve our problems.

Bottom line is this team will probably be picking 7 or 8 in this draft, and that is just not good enough! The Flyers will need to trade up aggressively into the top 3 and if that means trading their first this year and next year and throwing several prospects then I say they need to do it. This team desperately needs a top line center and 3 of them are sitting at the top of the draft, the Flyers need to get one of them this year! Otherwise it will be more of the same for years to come. The Flyers need to step up or step out.
