what i'm most surprised about is on the replay it didnt even look like he reacted in pain on his face - it looked like he was totally unphased yet he couldn't stand. fingers crossed that's a good sign but prob means jack

I remember when Kreider broke his ankle blocking a shot a few years ago he missed 4-6 weeks. So maybe zib could be back by the playoffs

Point of contact looked to be the inside of his ankle, just above or near the top of his skate. Worst possible place and direct impact off the shot. I am not at just punting the season, but losing your #1, do-it-all center would be a massive loss.

Not sure how the #2 d man is out for an extended period of time. Can they win without Zib I highly doubt it but to say as a high performance athlete we lose our #1 centre I quit , don’t want that guy on my team |
