yeah this is pretty unreal

and you gotta figure Edmonton will do something

In a way, NYR's struggles of late, especially Shesty's, could be a good thing. Hopefully, they will be hitting high gear come playoff time.

With Miller getting suspended 3 games most likely going to need him

So it’s like 99% likely the Kane deal gets finalized on Wednesday. I hope they have a private jet waiting for him in Chicago Wednesday morning so he can make it in time for the Philly game

While there is a precedent set with the Hathaway incident I am not sure Miller gets 3 games. The situations were quite different. Hathaway was incensed during a fight and Miller looked completely neutral like he wasn't even thinking. Really dumb thing to do but I don't believe it was with purpose.

Hopefully the conversation he had with doughty will get him a bit of leniency. One game I think we did alright imo

Who Knows? Maybe it's 3 games automatically. But I don't think what Hathaway did, and what Miller did is fully comparable.

I'm sure we'll know today. But with how Miller has looked lately, and the way Harpur played, I'm not so sure Miller being a spectator would be a bad thing.

Good morning.

I apologize for overreacting about the Zibanejad injury at the time. Facts about impending traded and roster management because of it remain unchanged.

Before I post the analytics for yesterday's game. Huge props to Harpur and Trouba. They played tough minutes shorthanded from the get go. Then even tougher when Miller went full (frank)ing idiot.

Please, I'm not sure there were too many that didn't overreact about that one. Zib going down with that kind of injury very well could have been season ending for the team.

Harpur looked like a guy seizing the opportunity with Miller's dumb moment.

I dont really understand how if Zibanejad had actually been severely injured how it's anything to do with the crazy roster management maneuvers right now

he's a primary penalty killer all the time, he got hit by a shot while killing a penalty, it could have happened under normal circumstances

Blog hopefully up later, unfortunately, my daughter had a massive meltdown and we ended up at Nassau University Medical Center until 2am with her. Running very behind on a bunch. Gut check win and performance, especially by Zib and the four horsemen on D

That's my stance. But I do get why some could lump some of this together. Some guys are getting hammered with minutes and it was/is avoidable. What they are doing is absurd.

But Zib is in that position 99% of the time.

The freak out here last night when that happened was worse then when everyone thought McDonagh blew out his Knee a few years back. It was pretty funny lol

probably the pressure it would then put on the rest of the lineup - considering they were already down a forward due to the roster management.

i thought about it too tbf to tom - wasnt made he was out there b/c like you said he always is.

more of a "when it rains it pours" kinda thing for me.

I think Vancouver has some remorse about his 8 million dollar a year deal until 2030 starting next season:
