I hope we aren't getting that Smurf Kerfoot... |

Let go of the past…

Kind of hard to when the past keeps repeating itself. Seems like I have seen this story a time or two before.
New faces and same inept management.

Maybe something retained, but 2M why bother? - VanHockeyGuy
If retaining 2m then a sweetener is added to Greenway. 2023 2nd. |

I'd be infatuated with any team making trades if I were a canuck fan.
I personally just enjoy league trades. Fun watching them.
I'd be real curious on Kerfoot to Canucks. I don't know why Canucks would do it unless they felt they could 1. flip him or 2. re-sign him but I think he tests free agency. - Aaron_85
Only way I could see the Canucks taking on Kerfoot is as a cap dump. They have no reason to take him on for a short term run.
Unless they have plans to trade Miller, which seems doubtful, I don't understand them seeking him out. |

Maybe so but it’s FA who is the constant problem. I feel that Mgmt has the freedom & autonomy to do what they feel needs doing now. |

I think the fans are now past who to blame and don't care who shoulders the anger. They are just tired of seeing the same results.
I will give Allvin this, I like the Kravstov trade but that is the only move I have liked since he has got here. It is not a great trade but it is a trade that does nothing or it is a trade that has a high return.
Everything else he has been shuffling deck chairs and Canucks mgmt talk a big game and show very little results.

The Bo trade will be good once they use the draft pick too. Beauvillier also has 8 points in 10 games so far, he's 25, so can re-sign or pump/flip him next year as well. |

We have signed G Michael Houser and subsequently placed him on waivers.

I haven't come to that conclusion yet. If we are drafting 18 th and get another pick like Lickermaki then I will be very disappointed. Raty I am not sure, he will even be an NHL player yet. The key word is yet.
I have liked Beauvillier so far, he looks decent. If he turns out to be a regular on the top line then it is a win for PA. If he is a flip, then we are back in the same boat of me not trusting Allvins or JR draft record.

I’m just saying separate the JB regime from this one. They’ve come clean saying they were wrong & it would take longer to clean up the mess. This TDL & offseason & draft is when they’ll be fully under the microscope & the intense scrutiny that comes with that. |

I get what you are saying Nightie.
Me I know all about Bennings record. PA looks like he is going down the same path. You are correct about the meddling owner. This problem has pretty well dated back to when new ownership came in. They want to compete; they have no desire to start over again. That is why some of us can't let go of the past. This team should have started back in 2012 but if the owner says no, then the management is hooped. |

1st question is why giving up on Lickyermaki already?
Raty is a bit of a project that I see as a 3C once he develops & settles in. Adjustment phase & work on skating is in order.
On drafting have an open mind (woke) lol. No rush to make judgement yet. EPD has impressed. Retool isn’t a race more like a shortened marathon lol |

Truth & well said 👍
Let us hope real change is coming. The signs are there but it MUST continue. The fanbase needs to feel secure the FA meddling days are gone. |

I haven't given up on LIcker, I just have no expectations. There is a difference.
For a team that clearly knows it should have been drafting D and Cs makes no sense drafting a small winger. It has been mentioned on here over and over that we have an abundance of wingers.

Boeser at 4.5 x3 years is a steal and should be worth a 1st even if he's only a 30 goal guy.
Why would we want Greenway? He's trash. |

Just bought a new set of Titleist T100S irons. Gonna give them a spin. |

VANTEL, we've talked about this before but having undersized winners is how you win championships. Build from the wing, then LHD, then center, then RHD, then in goal. It's the formula! |

That could be Don meeting him. Lefty is getting up in years now. He is always bragging about his beard.
