At the end of today I’d like Boeser and Sanheim |
|
|
|
Would the Jets be interested in a Clayton Keller trade? He makes 7 per, doesn't have a NMC and is a ppg player on a poor team. He enters a no trade next year and is locked up for 4 additional years and is only 24 years old. |

JVR, Kingberg, or Boeser , the ASK is a now a 3rd or worse. Kinda comical at this point. I believe the only reason Chevy is holding out here is that he is still working on someone much better and with term. |

I think it's cause the longer he waits the lower the price gets.
Its the Ch trifecta of the Jets organization, Chipman, Chevy and Cheap. |

Every year Chevy lulls us to sleep by waiting until the last minute and somehow when the trade is made the fans in the seats are pleased as punch we got some new blood and for the time being. That player becomes the temporary fan favorite. NN was a good fit but let's face it, there was lots of fantastic talent out there and unless an Arizona miracle happens , Chevy got none of them despite lots of cap space and prospects |

Here is comes.....lol. Namestikov for a 4th.
At end of day we paid a 4th for Eysssimont. The guy we placed on waivers.
EPIC FAIL for Chevy on this one |
|
|
|
So Nemestivkov to Wpg for a 4th lol.
So, SJ picks up Essiymont, trades to Tampa and Wpg get Nemestekov from SJ. Lol
Hilariously inept asset mgmt. Does this mgmt group have any shame? lol, could not have wrote a more inept mgmt story. |

Trotz is already the GM in Nashville next season and beyond.

Looking at things in reverse....If the Jets could now just lose every game they might finish 8-10th and have a small chance at Bedard but alternatively would get very good player nonetheless. |

Know that Poille was stepping down but didn’t know that Trotz was officially hired. My bad.
Guess stuck with the three CH running this mess.

I'd rather have Mikey Eyssimont than Nameskikov- or however that name is spelled - (it not like ANYONE will be buying that jersey).

Chipman is the boss
Chipman calls the shots
Chipman likes average
go ahead and fire Chevy but don't expect changes to how this team goes about things,
time to accept this is Chipman's team, he's the boss and this is how he will always run it.
i'll still be a fan, just disgruntled at times. |

The one thing incorrect in that statement is "Chipman likes average". One thing I know about Chipper is he is always tries improve and "do better" . The problem is that he is an incredibly intense guy and can be stubborn as well. It ends up being his weakness/ liability. He could be a better delegator. Thats my take on it. I've experienced him enough while growing up to know. |

We are about to get “The price was too high….blah, blah” speech.
I am sure that Chipman is not sitting there and saying “Chevy do not improve this team, because I hate getting playoff revenue and really have no desire to win the cup, so don’t bring me any trades or ideas that may improve this team…….”

so what do you think is happening then? Chipman has kept Chevy employed over ten years and supported him through the blackhawks saga why? cause he loves all the trades, draft picks and player development Chevy looks after??? or because Chevy is a good soldier who does what Chipman says? you tell me what's more likely. please. |

Chevy a good soldier I’m sure.
Heisinger as Senior VP, director of Hockey Operations and Asst General Manager is probably the safest job in hockey….what other team would he have that gig with??? Any accountability ?? |

Bingo. I was business educated by another prominent Wpg biz family that also played rec hockey with the staff. On par with Chipmans family financial wise.
But, they empowered the staff from the janitor to the CEO. Their MO was if you are sticking your nose into every nook and cranny down the chain of command, you don't need their services. A managers job was to work yourself out of job.... meaning, let them do the job you hired them to do. |

I was wrong !
I had stated a few time this season that the Jets would not add any Russians to their roster, out of respect to the Ukrainian community here.

You are the insider. The way you speak about Chevy causes me to lose even more respect for him. It seems like he's got no respect for himself. Essentially the way you describe him, it's like he's a high priced....... I will let you fill in the rest.
