1M over the cap when Murray is back
Holl, Engvall or Kerfoot goes - Santo_44
Yeah, one of them has to be moved now. Unless, Murray is out until the playoffs start? |

Holl is a decent player when lower in the lineup.
Kerfoot is very versatile.
Engvall is beige. He brings nothing distinct to the table. You remove him, and he would never be missed. |

Yeah.
If Kerfoot brings in a good haul I think you consider it...
But yeah Engvall for a mid and late rounder would be more than fine |

Unless the NHL allows 9 d to be dressed for playoffs I think this is a waste. |

Pour one out today for Wayne Simmonds.
He's never coming back to the Leafs.
Has he even reported to the Marlies? - Atomic Wedgie
Is it disrespectful if I just drink mine and don't pour it on the floor? I never wanted him here to begin with.

I'd rather recoup some picks then bring on Schenn. |

Fun fact while screwing around on NHL.com's stats package:
The Leafs have used 23 forwards so far this year.
Tampa has used 16.
Not sure if this has any real meaning - just found it interesting.

he's not getting his name on the cup though
The official rule is that for a player to have their name engraved on the Stanley Cup, they must have played at least half the regular season (41 games) or one game in the Stanley Cup Finals for the Cup-winning team - Symba007
if they make it, he'll play a game in the finals ala Lanny for Calgary. |

Kerfoot is versatile in the sense that he is average or worse at multiple positions. You can have Rielly playing the right side I'm sure, he just blows at it. Would that make Rielly versatile?
You can punt one or the other or both, all you're taking out of the lineup is a lot of fast skating around that doesn't do anything else except get really scared when the intensity increases. |

I thought this was a lie. Jake McCabe for 3 years (2 + the end of this) @ 50% retained? Lafferty makes $1.15m and has another year.

Lanny played in 54 regular season games that year, and 14 playoff games.
8 total seasons in Calgary.
He was team captain.
Your comparison is a bit of a stretch. |
