You are kidding yourself saying he did it as a favor to the team. He wanted to go to the Rangers and play with Panarin plain and simple. If he wanted to help the Hawks he would have waived to go anywhere. Where someone screwed up. whether it was Kane his agent or GM,was waiting till after Rangers traded for Tarasenko to get serious about making a trade. If they had traded him earlier they would have gotten a 2023 1st plus much more - hfc355
Just get to the ECF, and enjoy watching Kane. |

A second round pick is probably wishful thinking too. Think more along the lines of what Vegas got from the Hawks for Fleury - GPHawksfan
Glad you were wrong, hopefully he signs with us next year.

Me thinks the key to Kane's decision is to play with a contender in a city within driving distance of his father. Playing with Panarin had little to do with it IMO. But it's done so who knows. Hope you make it to the ECF. And yes he should have made a decision weeks ago.

Ok brother, I just don’t have the energy to explain this again.
Can you please go back to the NYR site and stick to annoying the sh*t out of them?
Thanks |

Enter draft choice if they get to Conference final. Perhaps greatest satisfaction if they get to Conference final THEN loose - jhawk59
To be fair, when I typed this I didn't know the condition of it turning into a 1st.
(frank) it! I still don't care. I'll gladly take the 2nd rounder in '23, and the Rags lose in the 1st round. |

I agree also. but some fans wishing Kane comes back next year to be traded again is not a rebuild, it is a nostalgia tour. - LAHawk
No, don't ever let him wear the Indianhead again. |

Absolutely, don't care what anyone says, never convince me they win 3 cups without Big Hoss |

You know its not really the fact Kane is moving that bugs me so much its where the fuk did 14 years go? It feels like yesterday Toews was drafted and then we won the lottery and had the first pick. Who knew it would end this way? - SaskHawkFan
It was 16 years. Kane started at 18.

They need some defensemen for Rockford, I’m thinking that Vlasic and Roos will probably come up for a few games. Hoping that C Jones goes, he needs a brain like the scarecrow in WoOz. |

Probably over it tomorrow. Today pissed at the way he handled it. Even if he only wanted to go to Rags, he didn't need to wait until 5 dys before deadline.
You are right, its just business, and he (frank)ed the Hawks business with his bullpoop. |

I could say the same about Toews and Seabrook. To me, Seabrook was the most underrated of the core. |

Well, now that the two AHL lifers are included, its a win. KD sure likes collecting those by the score. |

Nah. Leave them in Rockford. No reason for them to be around this mess that KD built. |
