Absolutely, don't care what anyone says, never convince me they win 3 cups without Big Hoss - vabeachbear
I totally agree. No Hossa no cups.

Tonight might be the most unwatchable Hawks game in over 15 years....
... but I hate myself so I'll watch anyway. - TommyHawk
Right?… and we’ll come on this board and argue with one another while we do it!

You are kidding yourself saying he did it as a favor to the team. He wanted to go to the Rangers and play with Panarin plain and simple. If he wanted to help the Hawks he would have waived to go anywhere. Where someone screwed up. whether it was Kane his agent or GM,was waiting till after Rangers traded for Tarasenko to get serious about making a trade. If they had traded him earlier they would have gotten a 2023 1st plus much more - hfc355
Agree with the whole post but the blackened is it in a nutshell. It was Kane dragging his feet though, not the Hawks. ..... No doubt the Hawks get the 1st STL did for Tank.
Would not surprise me, or most Hawk's fans, if Kaner is not the best Ranger come playoff time. Dude is a big game, big money player. Brighter the lights the better Kane is. |

Sens have some good young players, they just need a little more and a goalie. Brady Katchuk is a stud. - Angotti
And Josh Norris, their #2 C, has been out most of the yr. Rookie Pinto has been moved to 2C and done well, once Norris is back he moves to 3C.
Stutzle is one of my favorite players to watch. Sky is the limit for the 21 yr old and it looks like rookie Dman Sanderson is gonna be a legit #1 diference making Dman.
I'm hoping with all the young talent Dcat signs with the Sens. |

Perhaps he drug his feet because he really didn’t want/wasn’t sure he wanted to leave Chicago in the first place? But, if he was to leave - NYR was the one place he would go. I’m not “kidding myself” to say that Kane did the team a favor - he could have stayed in Chicago - as his contract allowed - and not face any upheaval to his personal life. The fact that it took so long for him to finally give the go ahead for the trade seems fairly evident that he was struggling with the decision. |

I hope he comes back this summer but I am not holding my breath. All the team statements make it sound like he is not. |

I don’t think it makes sense for the Hawks given the trajectory of their rebuild. The most likely return of Kaner is to sign a one-day contract so he can retire as a Hawk. |

Ok. I'm over on the SE side closer to COD. Maybe we can catch one of those Steel games that Mr. Rico is always talking about. - Rota's Rooter
Totally up for a Steel game one of these days. I just looked up where they play- not far at all, right in Geneva. I've been out there eating at that Country House on Kirk. The Chicago tag given to them always made me think they were in the city. |

Nah. Leave them in Rockford. No reason for them to be around this mess that KD built. - Elbows15
They may throw them a bone for two-three games. Now as far as the goalies, Mrazek and Stalock need to stay healthy for the rest of the year, hate to see any of the youngsters tending for this current group. |

You know its not really the fact Kane is moving that bugs me so much its where the fuk did 14 years go? It feels like yesterday Toews was drafted and then we won the lottery and had the first pick. Who knew it would end this way? - SaskHawkFan
Totally. We went through 6 moves across two continents in that span. My oldest went from a new born to a highschooler in that time. Best part though is we got not one, but three cups unlike all those Canucks, Preds and Sharks fans. We also saw the league completely turned upside down in that span of time. The mightiest of the West went from best to worst- Hawks, Sharks, Canucks and Ducks, with the Kings just recently rising. The Pens and Caps will likely miss the playoffs too. |

Could be the same, it’s not going to be pretty. Let’s hope the young defensemen play better defense than C Jones, Johnson, and Tinordi, that would help. |

Kane had a full yr, at least, to decide what he wanted. If he wanted to stay he would have asked to resign with the club.
I'm not hating on Kane and would agree he had mixed feelings but there can be little doubt he decides a week ago and the return for him is much better. |
