I am seeing an issue with the report. The Rangers don't have a 2023 4th. They traded it for Motte per capfriendly
I will take Cuylle instead... - ikeane

Rangers would have to beat Carolina and Devils first - hfc355
That’s doable with what NYR has with their top nine now - just need their goaltending to hold up. |

2024 4th - hfc355
In that case would rather have gotten the B level prospect. |

Well that's easy. Cheer for the Leafs to beat the Bolts, Rangers to beat the Devils and Leafs. - Popsghostly
Just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in. |

Right. Admittedly I pay little attention to how the East is divisioned. Toss up between Leafs and Canes in terms of beatability? At least they won't have to get through the Bruins or Bolts. |

Ok so as we speak (prior to Friday), KD has 6 picks in the top-60 to work with in this draft. - TommyHawk
Okay. KD can acquire the picks but, has he reworked the scouting staff enough that they can actually select impact NHL players?
Kinda reminds me of...

They don't have that either, went in the Tarasenko trade.

Kaplan must be wrong but all Severelli posted was 4th rd, so it could be 25 given how nuts the trading of far out draft capital has become.

From Friedman's twitter:
ARIZ is getting a 3rd in 2025 (NYR) for brokering the Patrick Kane trade |

If they make the playoffs next year, the 2024 4th turns into a 3rd and they would have the 4th. The probably can't trade on that basis but could formulate some sort of weird conditional rule.

Pops. It's the year 2023. 2025 is only 2 years away.
Now granted half the contributors on this board could be dead by then (myself included) but it really isn't that far away in sports time.
BTW, where abouts in Wheaton? That may be where I'm from.

My final prediction for the Kane trade is....
Rangers receive Kane @ 50% retained (25% from both the Hawks and Coyotes), and a 2024 5th Round Pick from the Hawks.
Hawks receive Jimmy Vesey, Bobby Trivigno, a conditional 2023 2nd Round Pick (Becomes a 2024 1st if Rangers win the cup), and 2025 4th Round Pick all from the Rangers.
Coyotes retain the other 25% of Kane's contract and receive a 2024 5th Round Pick from NYR as compensation. - chitownfan92
Damn. You are close based on what I'm hearing.

Ha ha, Rota. It feels like an eternity though. This long process is going to be a bummer and it doesn't even guarantee a winner. I looked at how long it took the Avs to win it all after the drafting of Landeskog/McKinnon and it was like 10 years...
I finally stopped being a lurker in 2017 and was living in the odd towers in the middle of downtown Wheaton, Wheaton Center, as it allowed easy access to the Metra. We moved and actually live in Winfield not very far from DuPage County complex near County Farm as a marker. But for all intents and purposes, it's Wheaton as the fence 15 feet away is Wheaton and the kids go to Wheaton schools and we are part of the Wheaton Park District I believe.

So is this the beginning of the new Kane NMC rule. Only pick one team and get traded for a bag of pucks? Rental prices will come down a poopload now because of it IMO. |
|
|
|
The Rangers 2024 4th which went to STL will become a 3rd if NY makes the playoffs. That is almost a certainty so the 2024 4th will go the Hawks |
