Don't sugarcoat it Hank. Granted I don't follow the Sabres that closely but Adams seems to be doing a tremendous job with the team. I'm going to assume he knows if his team requires some sandpaper and give him the benefit of the doubt. Sabres have turned the corner. The future is brighter than it's been in quite some time. Buffalo is a town that always seems to get the short shift. Go Buffalo!!

Stillman might be good - there are just zero indications that he is. And giving up a prospect for a guy who doesn't look any better than any of their four guys is weird. Best case scenario he's a servicable 3rd pairing guy.

Maybe it'll work out, but this is the kind of trade Botterill loved. I would have much rather have preferred they pooled some assets and traded for something really good.
