Could any of this have to do with the fact that we have a gutted scouting team? Most teams still have traditional scouting mixed with the 'computer age' analytics. IMO, we are way to heavy trying to scout 'by the numbers'. (But what do I know, I am just looking at the other 31 teams...) |

Nope they gutted it when KA started but added quite a few scouts thereafter - we probably have an average amount of “road” scouts compared to other teams

He displayed other Ristolainen like tendencies last night, such as often dumping the puck out of the zone to nobody in particular, and icing it for no reason. - kingcong39
I am assuming you are talking about Stillman.
Once Dahlin is back. I am fine with him in the 3rd d pair. I rather have him over Bryson |

Some speculation around Minnesota’s Jordan Greenway. Teams continue to call, but the return isn’t where it needs to be for the Wild to move the big forward at this point. |

He’s great! Any special guests on today? Thinking Jason Alexander, maybe, who’s Howard’s cousin |

As Pierre Dorion points out on TSN, Senators made a big splash but Jakob Chychrun is not a rental. Ottawa was smart to add to give a young team experience in a playoff race. If Sens get in? Great. But especially given the price, it's not like they mortgaged the future. |

I always thought of Howard as the straight man who takes a long, long time to explode if/when he does. A really likable, nice guy. WGR is way less without him.
Sal should have taken the morning show.
Other than the fact they have no local competition that isn't a news talk show, I don't think they would survive. Joe and Jeremy are two very unlikable personalities. Tough to put them together. Sal and Jeremy or Sal and Joe would do better. However, like I said, no terrestrial competition. They'll be around for 20 years. |

Are you going to be with Adams all day today? - RichardRoma
Dìckey, if I was running the team since offseason, Husso would have been our goalie all season. And, since we'd be just about to pass Tampa for 3rd place in the division, I would have added Meier by trading one of my bazillion prospects and/or picks. He would be taking the ice in Sabre gear for practice today, and the Lightning would be pissing their collective pants. Wayne Simmonds would have been claimed off waivers and would be packing foil right now, though I'm sure I would have addressed toughness in the offseason. Maybe I would have ripped some players until I found their backbones, or I would have brought backbone in. Either way, there would be injured Tampa Bay Lightning players from the game two weeks past, and it's doubful Dahlin would be hurt now. |
