This deadline has completely killed the vibes I had for this team that I haven’t had in a decade….. Adam’s has annoyed me with mantras and cliches for years, but he made a good deal on Eichel and a few guys Thompson (Didn’t trade for him) and Cozens (Didn’t draft him) have had career years, so people want to proclaim him a genius and give him the benefit of the doubt… F that!
F and have proved they will not show up for losers yet Adam’s takes advantage of our hockey market and the young players (Most of whom he had nothing to do with acquiring) are doing well, and most assumed we’d make a small move or two to finally get this team back into the playoffs. Get the fans something to get excited about and the players something to learn from. Instead, Adam’s just tries to act like Vinnie (frank)ing Hinostroza and Jacob Bryson need to learn how to win. - bluengold12

He has a world of leverage and a year+ to use it. Nothing would surprise me. An easy, quick extension would be a huge vote of confidence. Waiting a year is probably in his best interest. See how things play out with Matthews and with the team.
