It's annoying watching the teams with no cap space get the big names. Toronto will end up with another D because they are not emotionally attached to everyone on the team. KA needs to help this team move forward they are doing well as several players are having career years and that cannot be counted on as the norm. They really should have gone in big for McCabe a known quantity and a solid defenseman. Just what they needed not a journeyman that cannot even break in to the starting lineup on a bad team. - brick1960
We are the Buffalo Sabres. All the good players don't want to come here, I would assume that all the big name players the have NTC our names on the list of "don't you trade me there."... Players will start to want to come here because we will have a chance to win a cup every year (assuming we get a goalie)
Everyone wants to play for Vegas, Montreal, Boston, T.O, NYR etc.... Its not that hard to figure out...

Completely agree but with some of these guys, we don't even know what they have yet. Some, Asplund, Vinny, Mits and even OLO, I get it. We have "Murrency" but not the kind we want to spend right now. I want the playoffs for sure but not at the expense of losing the opportunity of going and making a real push in the next year or two.
Tampa, bruins, 2 x rangers, devils on a Friday, mcdavid , fan appreciation game vs Ottawa.
Probably find cheap seats to Oilers and NJ though - Boss34
I've got Edmonton on the 6th, Rangers on the 11th, Bruins on the 19th, and Carolina in April (which was already given away as a Christmas gift). So, really on three games left for me.
That's how it goes.
It's not bad though when I can get a $30 ticket tonight and sit 116.

Seahawks’ starting center Austin Blythe, who was scheduled to be a free agent, announced his retirement from the NFL at age 30.
And for those up front shouting to those of us in the back....FOR THE RIGHT PRICE - hammatoe
This is all it is. I want Chychrun, I'm not cool with trading the equivalent of 3 1sts for the guy, and if that's what they want then good for them, let someone else give that up. I expect to be more active in the trade market next year once they have Dahlin and Power under contract and know what the future looks like. I think it's just a year early for the big move and Adams knows that.
It's not as exciting but it's probably better overall. Get a guy in this draft, develop your prospects, add smart pieces, and next year let's look for the next Meier and Chychrun.
