I take the vibes talk with a grain of salt. We know they are involved in trade talks and just can't seem to get deals done. Very Darcy'esque to me. Know what they need to improve, but unwilling to pay for it.

Sucks that they are unwilling to at least get something out of their cap space.

Sure as hell would help with trade possibilities right now.

As for ideas, I'll only bring up names from the past two drafts that were talked about at the time of each draft.

2021: Instead of Rosen, how about Wallstedt? Instead of the Russian to kick off the 2nd round, how about Olen Zellweger or Scott Morrow?

2022: Any defender in round 2 instead of the goaltender.

What would their prospect pool look like with Wallstedt, Zellweger and Seamus Casey or Tristan Luneau instead of Rosen, Prokhor and Leinonen?
