so no hope of getting an aging but still good NHL goalie?. I just looked again at our 3 headed goalie numbers and Commie's and UPL numbers would not cut it in a beer league.

If we Just had a competent goalie we could make the playoffs and shame on GMKA for not trying to get one. You have a shat ton of Cap room, Picks coming out of your A$$ and one of the best if not the best prospect pool in all of NHL.

The blues have half their salary cap dedicated to defensemen.

But that is a fair point about the other teams you mentioned.

Funny!! Defense is hurting Buffalo on the Ice and in the Trade room. Buffalo doesn’t have the Defensive Depth or D prospects to make some of these trades. Drafting D is important for more than just filling your Prospect pool.

So I guess Quick did not have a No trade Clause in his contract. I mean Buffalo could not of been in on that? sign Quick for 2 years even if he is aging he is still a better option then what we have currently on our roster...
