Just got the text, it's a 7th rounder going to Edmonton for some prospect?
Skyler Brind'Amour?
Anyone ever hear of him? Sounds familiar, cant put my finger on it? - Boss34
But can Cam Ward’s son unseat UPL is the real question. |

We're going to get to a point, sooner rather than later, where people will be paying more for al a carte services than they did for regular cable. - buffalofan19
Cagey move by MSG to throw out the $10 per game cost model to help make the $30 per month not sound so bad. |

Smart play by Columbus . Didn’t look up the guys they moved but they also got a 1st out of it. Buffalo was also tied to the flip potential |

Dubas has to go for broke here, he doesn't have a contract extension in place for himself yet and his contract is up at the end of the year.
If they don't make some noise in the playoffs he is out

Apparently, NESN already launched for the Bruins and Red Sox at almost the same price point this year.

Totally agree. I'm afraid to dig in and see how much i'm actually paying for my Directv plus all of the streaming services we have, which is a bunch. Let my wife handle that. Plus streaming sports blow. What's your persuasion on streaming sports Buff? |

Funny over the time I have been on here, there have been a few like me advocating to add Depth to are Defensive Core. I have actually been told how ridiculous I sound cause I bring it up so much. Well maybe they should have listened, because are D depth is horrible and it's affecting the on Ice product and it's affecting the Sabres in trades. Fantastic that we have a strong Forward pool, but D is the meat teams crave in some of these trades that have happened or might happen. Hurts the Sabres |

Tuch being in the conversation brings up an important, relevant topic, which is his contract situation and the desire for management and some Sabres fans to continue slow playing things.
https://www.capfriendly.com/players/alex-tuch
He's going to turn 27 this May, he'll have 3 seasons left on his deal, and he'll be 30 when he needs his next deal.
With the amount of value they're getting from him in terms of on ice performance compared to his bargain cap hit, slow playing things means you're not taking full advantage of that. Ditto Tage in that regard.
Every season that making the playoffs and winning is not the ultimate priority wastes the tremendous value the Sabres are getting out of Tuch and Tage.
At least for Tuch, the clock is already ticking on his current deal. |

Streaming sports has a disadvantage because it takes a lot more bandwidth to stream a live event than, say, a movie or a show on Netflix, which is essentially a temporary download. The major networks seem to be able to provide enough horsepower, provided you have a suitable internet connection. For instance, I have never had an issue streaming anything on the ESPN app, either using a normal subscription or ESPN+. I use an NVIDIA Shield, though, instead of my native Samsung Smart TV OS to do it. I also hardwire an ethernet cable into my router instead of using WiFi. When you stream on these IPTV services, which claim to give you every channel in the world for $20, you're at the mercy of both the servers the service is using, and the server they're pulling the channel from, which is usually not their main one. That's when you get streaming issues. It's good for what you pay for, but it's going to be far from perfect.

To confirm what we were talking about earlier.
https://theathletic.com/4...ing-subscription-service/
MSG Networks is launching a streaming service for fans to watch the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres, the company announced Wednesday. Here’s what you need to know:
MSG+ will launch this summer and be available to fans who live in regions where MSG’s channels are available on cable TV.
Additionally, MSG+ will be free for anyone who is already a paying subscriber of a TV service that has MSG Network, the company said.
The streaming service includes multiple subscription options: monthly ($29.99), annual ($309.99) or single-game purchases ($9.99).
An MSG+ subscription also includes MSG Network and the new MSG SportsZone, a free ad-supported streaming television channel, or FAST, that recently launched. - buffalofan19
This is insane
NFL+ is 5 bucks a month
