Following up on the earlier #LGRW Dylan Larkin reports: an 8-year extension will come in under $9M AAV - I reported a couple weeks ago Larkin’s side conceded to that fact. On the fun side, does he sneak a ‘71’ in there somewhere, like $8.71M or $8.871M for example.

NFL+ only gives you live games that are in your over the air market, not cable. That's the big difference. Any game you get on NFL+ you can get with a TV with a regular antenna (i.e. you don't have to pay for it). With a cable company like MSG, it's different. They have to keep the price high so that the cable providers will keep paying the high carriage fees. If they offer the streaming service for say $10 a month, they've cut the value of their carriage fees by more than half, and it makes negotiations incredibly ugly. And again, MSG is just following what other regional carriers, such as NESN, are already doing.

Agree Dahlin is the best player, but no way anyone else is better than Tage. That dude is electric.

Here in St. Louis, the blues and cardinals switched over to Bally’s from fox sports.
They have quite possibly the worst feeds I’ve ever witnessed, and they want $19.99 a month for their bottom tier streaming service

The more I listen to him talk, the more I'm convinced he took a Dale Carnegie course, a whole lot of fluff, very little substance.

While you can't dismiss the good things this team has done this year, sometimes I fear that it's fools gold. Adams has done a lot of salesman-esque talking that's made the fanbase feel good about itself, but when it comes to things he's actually done, it's really not much. The amount of success this team has had while he's been essentially the equivalent of a glorified babysitter of an NHL roster is unprecedented. And keep in mind, this team isn't even in a playoff spot, and they've dropped yet another "big" game, at home, that would have boosted their chances at changing that.
