nah
his plan was trickle up
cinncy and rochester went from bottom dwellers to decent teams
terry rushed the rebuild and picked ralph
botts was a puppet that controlled the draft - homiedclown
well, as the face, he failed. (frank)ing guy couldn't hire a competent coach, a competent staff, competent players. Couldn't make competent trades and misused the poop out of many players. Drove guys away. Fostered a toxic work environement.
He sucked and anyone who disagrees is god damn wrong. |

You have to wonder if the guys in the locker room see what is going down and get deflated because Adams doesn't help.
Marty Biron - Bringing in Bob Corkum deflated us.
Adams is just hanging them out to dry. - sabresfan69
Would you trade futures to bolster or are there roster players you would trade? In your opinion what would push this young group to maximize their chance of playoffs?

Bergeron probably retiring
Pasta has openly said he won't resign there while sweeney is still GM
Marchand... well he'll be there for a minute. - JCSabs06
And Pasta stays in Boston. |

You do realize Ottawa can pass the Sabres very easily. They are 2 points behind the Sabres and are starting to get healthy and just added a top pair d-man without touching their roster. - ImThatGuy
I guess the argument is that between them and us whoever got chych was going to finish the year stronger. They're still closer to a better pick than we are at the moment. |

the Chychrun Ottawa trade.
Buffalos pipeline isn’t touched.

Gibson has a full no-trade and I believe he's been unwilling to waive. He's not coming to Buffalo, plus in 2 years Levi is our future. - turbo044
Levi is at the very least 2 years away. I wouldn’t even slot him in the roster yet after his 2nd season.
More likely 3 years away |

Armstrong is talking out of his ass again, he said that when Chychrun first went on the block and has been saying it since. Not only did I say it but so did the folks on Sportsnet and TSN. Armstrong is full of S$$T. - SABRES 89

I know you are. I respect it.
But you’re too smart to not know where this is all headed.
Mediocrity - sbroads24
Way I view it is he's a nothing piece that maybe, at best, adds a dimension to a defense that's already way too shallow to stand up consistently to good teams.
If we have any hope of ascending, Kevo needs to take a page out of Boston's book and start trading and hiring competence for the back end. Not now necessarily because we all know that won't happen, but in the next calendar year. |

They need to maximize Cozens and Power. That should’ve been their goal.
A bonafide T6 winger to pair with Cozens for a long time
A top 4 D that Dahlin or Power could pair with for a long time |

If I had to power rank sources giving us inside information.
Gerbe would be #1 and 89 would be #2.
My source is a mid level Sabres employee. So I would say mine is 4th or 5th |

I would rather Adams go after Provorov.
I watched the cbus game and it seemed like Power played the entire game. That kid is an absolute STUD
Adams, needs to focus on defensive dman and GRIT. |

I was irrationally angry about the goaltending last year and it's going to be so much (frank)ing worse if he doesn't do something about it this year.
