We don’t need more grit. That’s a load of poop
We traded for Stillman (your defensive defenseman) and everyone cried about it - Sabretooth9
That's patently false. |

Not only has Adams not rewarded this team for their efforts, and career years, this season...Other teams are banking 1st rounders. I understand having a plan, but come on already. There is nothing remaining on the trade block that truly moves the needle for us. |

Does Adams think someone would actually claim Comrie on waivers or is it more a pride thing since they took a chance on him? - Dannymik
They'd try to trade him first. I'd be shocked if they put him on waivers. He'd be a great add for a non competing team because he has term and the other team can get value with him.

#NHLBruins have placed Taylor Hall on long-term injured reserve (LTIR)
This move creates $6M in LTIR cap space. - jochfr

Only chance they have is IF there is a player available that we don't know about... Highly unlikely though...

Watching him play I'm not sure how much worse Subban is over him. Using him as a very cheap asset works for my mental state.

Think people forget, Hall had 2 goals, 19 points and was -21 in 37 games here.
Need a comparable? Look at what Kane got. |

That's a good point. I have harped on that trade quite a bit too. Adding Lazar didn't help matters, he was a decent 4th liner, not sure Jost is an upgrade anymore. |

the point is that adding what would be clearly our third best left handed defenseman would feel great right now but probably isn't actually whats best for the team
of course, this falls apart if they don't use the assets to acquire a right handed d instead - robz228
Multiple things here.
One, the Sabres don't seem to care about handedness, as they've used Dahlin and Samuelsson in an RHD role so far.
Chychrun would be on the top pair with Dahlin playing the RHD role. What's the concern there? |

Jost is better than Lazar now. And honestly, I’m confused as to what everyone thought they would get for a career underperforming guy like Hall anyways. The dude is a second liner that just happened to be taken first overall. Outside of like 3 seasons, he’s averaged 65 points a year. Also can’t stay healthy. |

PKane or EKane?
Because the first Kane literally held Chicago hostage and refused to go anywhere else and threatened walk for nothing in return. I’m sure Chicago got much better offers |

I actually was thinking this morning maybe it's time to get Jost back in the middle of Vic and Mitts. We need a Vicstreak right now. Bump Krebs up or down depending on how you view it to play with the Old Guys again.

we want grit but not that grit! - TheSabresTaco
if you have to trade fro Grit your coaching staff is not doing a good job. Grit should come from every player on the team.
for those of you who remember the late 90's Sabres, that ENITRE team played a heavy game and yes they had the best goalie in the league but they were far from superstars other wise. They won by hard work and tenacious fore-checking leading to scoring just enough goals to let DOM do his thing.
Teams like Boston, NYI, Dallas, Colorado etc.. all those teams play a heavy game and damn near all the players including the superstars finish checks.

Another contract that could be on ARIZ’s radar is Jakub Voracek’s. There is cash for next year, but if he’s (unfortunately) unable to play, there would be insurance considerations. |

Arizonas hockey playing roster is 48 million.
They are going to have 40 million of Basically insurance that is going to count towards the cap.
Move the (frank)ing team.
