Sure, wingers and LHD traditionally hold less value. My point was I think people are combining in their heads the 21 draft and the 22 draft. The 22 draft was loaded with good quality Dman. 21 not so much. I agree that they should have taken one instead of Topias, with the quality available. Maybe I’m just higher on Kisakov than most. Thought he was better than Paltapov his draft year.

I hesitate to just say draft defense for the sake of the above though. The key word was quality, and should be placed above all else.

Sabres have always worked that way for as long as I can remember.

I will say this. there was really no reason to make trades the last 5 deadline days we suck and were way out of it by now, I was not surprised or mad when then did not make moves. But this year is different we actually hold our own destiny. this team clearly needs help between the pipes and on the blue line. I will be very disanointed in the Mgnt team if nothing is done to help them win now. and I am not talking about Stillman.
