Having a proven nhler in the bottom six to me is worth a 3rd rounder.
Ofc I would like a player with more bells and whistles but who is really left to get that won’t cost a fortune?!?! |

Need 2 points tonight.
Pitt playing depleted Nashville and Buffalo gets the Blue Jackets at home.

I wasn’t expecting it but I was thinking somehow Lou was going to do a semi big trade just because this is one of the most insane trade deadlines I’ve ever seen.
Believe me. I’m not disappointed I’d rather he do nothing else. |

We haven’t won any this season.
We’re 2/12 between last season and this in shootouts. |

Can we call up Iskhakov just for the SO?
- ses111
Sure why not. Happy to get the point tonight. If we can beat the wings on Saturday with a bit of standing help in between we could get a little separation. |

I can understand why Barzal did some crazy things in OT because he knows the team has no chance in the SO.
It was nice to get a point. |

He must be like Freddie Gaudreau. Hasn’t scored a goal in six weeks but has six shootout goals.

If Lou makes another trade, hopefully it's for a guy who can actually score in a shootout. |

I thought they had a good game and OT for the most part. Just couldn’t get anything past their goalie. Guy was great. 100% they need to get it done in OT at this point. They are completely inept with the shootout. |

this is a terrible "help" to TO.
This guy plays like loose stool.
THAT SOFT
Watch him stand around while people destroy our goalies before and after the whistle |

Solid overall game, and fun to watch. I thought Mayfield was noticeably solid last night, especially in the third. I also thought Dobson looked extremely soft. He was brutal at times. Especially on the goal they scored with Reaves bearing down on him - streaks
Yeah Dobson is having a bit of a step back year especially defensively. Not decisive at all with the puck way too slow with his decision making. That to me is his biggest issue this season. |

I don’t think he’s going to blow us away with anything but he has improved statistically every season. He’s only 26. I’m fine taking a flyer on him for a 3rd round pick. If we can get him locked up to a reasonable contract he may be able to help our bottom 6 which most of the players are at the end of their careers. |

Lou trades for Horvat and kicks off a crazy few weeks of trades. It's made for a lot of fun. |

I got to be honest I figured this team was dead in the water after the Barzal injury. I give these guys tons of credit for battling every night and getting points. Would you include Dobson in a trade for Chychrun? |
