When he’s been healthy he’s truly a #1. But ya he just hasn’t been able to play a full season. I still love the trade for the Sens. Fun team to watch. Chuck has plenty of tradable assets. He lacks the vision or competence or both to get anything done. Hopefully the new dude they have hired to work on the business side of things see’s the joke we have for a GM and brings some form of competency back to the position.

Yep. I said for years Ghost had a confidence problem and AV purposefully made it worse because he had a problem with him. They should have kept Ghost and allowed him to get healthy. The worst part is AV was gone not long after.

Just one more brutal bit of asset management by this clownshow of an organization.

And now, after reading about Torts, Frost, Jody and Brett Hull, I am even more pissed off. Imagine how Torts would ruin Bedard if we somehow lucked in to drafting him.

They should change the name of the team to the Philadelphia Talentless Muckers and Grinders. As long as Torts remains that is what we will get.

Did anyone actually watch Ghost against the Flyers this season?? You all call that a reclamation? Are you kidding me. He sucks just as bad in his own end there as he did here! We all rip DeAngelo for his defensive play and rightly so, but come on people! This ex-girlfriend thing that people on this forum is just over the top. Ghost is a HORRIBLE defenseman. Yes he puts up some numbers, and so does DeAngelo BTW, but lets see him do it on a real team in the playoffs when it matters. I'll bet you anything Ghost will be a healthy scratch by the 2nd round!

Ghost is just as good as TAD. I thought for a couple of seasons ghost played a passable defensive game but it was always evident that wasn’t his strong suit.

Chuckles and Hexy both asleep at the switch. Who will blink first? And people wonder why this organization is a complete dumpster fire. Ottawa already has a decent #1 in Chabot and another potential #1 in Sanderson.

If Chych sticks around, he should be slotted perfectly.

Absolutely it is. Eating $2.6M per season should be enough to get the deal done, and the cap will go up at least that much so it will be a wash.

I know you're big on facts. You have no factual information to support that eating 2.6M would be enough to get a deal done. Secondly, the players escrow is not projected to be completely paid off this season so the cap is projected to only go up 1M
