Hextall seems smart. Fletcher is openly stupid. - SuperSchennBros
Maybe if you give him a team that is already at ground zero and the idea is a complete tear down/build up and you give him a clean slate of 5 years etc, he could potentially build you something. I understand the pens job with one foot in the pool and one out is not the easiest. However, his actual evaluation of players and assets appears to be grossly lacking. |

Ed Snider rotating in his grave once again with the Ranger fans taking over tonight. The bozos running this team should be embarrassed, but they continue to think they can fix things...they can't. One and ten in OT! |

There’s a reason that the Flyers are 1-10 in OT. The good skaters can’t defend and the defense can’t skate well. |

Ristolainen just has no concept of angles and keeping a player to the outside. He bought on the first puck carrier coming wide near the boards and got himself too wide. While Tarasenko was shooting up the middle of the ice. It's by design and a set play |

2-2 Kreider - MBFlyerfan
That effort by Hayes on the tying goal is why he needs to go. blows the zone without possession then glides to his man without moving his feet. His effort is just horrible all around and is likely affecting the chemistry on this team. |

That and first he went right by Frost as well. Sad. |

There’s nothing to be fixed in their mind. As long as people are paying for parking and beer they don’t give a poop. |

So true. Comcast runs the team and the team is just a business to them. If the team is profitable that’s all they care about. They have no personal skin in the game. Heck, Dave Scott probably grew up as a Ranger fan. |

San Fillippo has suggested they are giving out a lot of free tickets to fill the barn. So the loyal season ticket holder base appears to be diminishing. Tonight was an embarrassment. Sounded like a game at MSG.

Did Frost play tonight? This is why I don't consider him much of as asset going forward. I don't know if I heard his name mentioned all night. I know, this is where the Frost lovers tell me that he played a perfect defensive game. On another note, Tippet with almost 28 minutes of ice time this evening! Holy schnikies! I thought it seemed like he never left the ice, but I had no idea he had that much time on ice. Eh what? |

Chychrun is like an elite #2 or a mediocre #1.
Ottawa already has a decent #1 in Chabot and another potential #1 in Sanderson.
If Chych sticks around, he should be slotted perfectly. - Tomahawk
I can go along with this. Do you think the Flyers should have offered the same package for him? I say no. |

I thought the Flyers played a good game overall. They are seriously overmatched offensively by the Rangers and the Flyers hung in there and played them pretty even. Scoring chances and puck time were even. It was a good effort and exactly what I hope this team does down the stretch, play close games and lose at the end. |
