Only teams that are trying to limit minutes for players that they plan on trading in the next day or two.
- jd250

Hayes won't be traded without eating a significant portion of his cap hit. Is it worth it?

What % of teams have their top two highest paid players on the 4th line?
- PLindbergh31

A better question. What team has EVER had their two highest paid non injured players on the 4th line?

Bill any insight as to why the Flyers never tried Ivan on the right side?

Gotta get those sweet future considerations

(who am I kidding, it'll cost the Flyers assets to move Hayes)

He hasn't learned to play the right way yet to get better linemates. Plus, look at all the room Deslauriers will give him on the ice. Both of their names start with D, so it's a logical combination. Desnoyers has to learn to play Flyers hockey.
- MJL

Both their names starting with D is the best explanation I’ve heard so far!

If Munchos were a dude they would challenge you to a duel for that last comment.

I'll be glad to have that duel. I'm coming loaded with Ruffles!

So if Hayes only plays 12 minutes versus 18, that's going to make a difference?

Wow, really no need to discuss, that lineup is as close to AHL as it gets. Let’s go baby, top pick coming then win the lottery

I'm fine if the Flyers do not do any trades before the deadline. Scott seems a little slow to want to make change. Give him another example of the incompetence of the current GM. I get the criticism of Torts. For me, the immediate concern is the GM. Without a good GM, does a HC even matter? As others have mentioned, the damage already inflicted by Fletcher cannot be undone between now and the start of the next season. Dave Scott apparently needs another example of the dumpster fire created by his GM.

What is the over/under for points scored by Zinbanejad tonight? It's got to be like 5 1/2 right?
- jd250

Points or goals?
(frank) it… I’ll take the over either way

Torts will be the de facto GM, our very own Barry Trotz.

I still believe York will have a better NHL career than Caufield and they got Brink in the second round.

Interesting. When my employer asks me to do something I'm simply going to say I don't want to. How do you think it would pan out?

You have to admit the Morin move to wing was a rousing success.
