Darren Dreger tweeted that Buffalo promised to find a new team for Bjork. And KD is accommodating them. Buffalo still needs a RD. KD may be laying the groundwork for a Murphy trade this summer.

yep exactly. It was good to get something for him and to show the good will of sending him off to have a chance with the Rangers. He doesn't want to be a GM who was unwilling to trade a player just because the value wasn't outstanding. He made the best of the situation.

There's a few layers to it, so many take a little time to execute, but believe Anton Khudobin's contract involved to make the money work.
