I said for the most part that was the type of player they liked. Any of those guys mentioned in the nhl yet. Mercer and sheider are in the nhl and making a impact. I know also every player develops differently and take longer than others, hopefully Reichel Vlasic and others can make the necessary steps to become important and impact players for the Blackhawks in the future.

If the Hawks weren't trying to be last, my guess is Reichel would be with the Big Club also making an impact.
They've purposely kept him in RFD and from some of the things I've read, they are making him earn top line mins, pp time, and having him work on 3 zone play and play away from the puck.
Pretty sure they've said on a few occasions, that once he comes up as more than just a lineup filler they want him to stick.
