I can see Richardinson for a 4th/5th. Good depth piece for the playoffs - LAHawk
Hawks will need someone to trade next year at the TDL. In that camp, I'll put D!ckinson, Blackwell and possibly T. Johnson if he stays healthy and is having a decent year. Also, whatever players KD signs to one year deals this summer.

I wonder if there are any cap dump prospects out there.
Something like a 3rd for Kerfoot and Boston's first.
Ya know, a crazy trade like the Zaitsev deal? |

I can't wait till Dolan starts complaining again about the opponents playing too rough with his toys.
If I was Drury, I would see how much it would cost to bring Ryan Reeves back, unless you want your captain and best defenseman going around playing policeman. I see no Ranger (beside Goodrow) that wants to (will) play physical. - LAHawk

We’ll likely see some more of these. I hope Kyle can nudge out the other GMs to be front of the line for these deals. Arizona reportedly doesn’t want to take any money back in a deal for Chychryn, which makes me think management there is tightening the purse strings after a decade of eating bad cap hits (Chychryn himself was a product of them eating Datsyuk’s cap hit for a mid first round pick).
Some bad cap hits off the top of my head:

Did Korchinski dominate in the World juniors against kids? - paulr
No. And his ice time was quite limited in the games that meant something.
And Coach R is very familiar with rushing kids (especially defenceman) to the NHL because he was one of them. The idiot Leafs played him 78 games as an 18 year old and he posted a cool +/- of -25 and of course they expected him to fight too. They lost 49 games that year. And he was shipped off to Edmonton within a couple of years.
Playing boys against men rarely works out well in the NHL.

Couple things dont add up. To me sounds like Kane had decided weeks ago he wanted to be a Ranger and KD was trying to get best possible deal from Rangers which he should do. Think Rangers threw a wrench in things when they signed Tarassnko and at that point were out on Kane. Thus the reaction of disappointment by Kane when he heard of Tarasenko deal. Rangers were moving on filling other needs but Kane pushed KD to get him to Rangers. The Kane to Rangers was going on for weeks prior to Tarasenko move. Think KD just misread things this the low return. Either way he did Kane a solid and hoping he signs a team friendly deal to stay. Good luck with Bedard hope you get him kid looks like a generational talent - hfc355
Never really hated the Rangers before never really cared but after reading your arrogant condescending posts 1st pick be dammed I hope your Rangers are done in ONE !! . |

What’s the deal on that conditional 2nd if the NYR make the ECF?
Read it turns into a 1st in ‘24 or ‘25…
Which is it, 24 or 25?
Exhale….. |

I said this in less many words earlier. KD will not rush players.

Correct it's top 10 protected in 2024. If it's in the top 10, Hawks get the 2025 pick. If it's out of the top 10, Hawks get the 2024. |

Nah we have Cuylle. Two games two fights won them both. I think he’ll be the 13F asap. They can’t call up anyone just yet |

Eller fetching a 2nd bodes well for the return KD would get for Domi should he be moved. |

I’ll be rooting for you guys! But am also a realist. The East is going to be very difficult this year…
Rangers need to get through 2 of the following: Devils/Boston/Tampa/Leafs, don’t see that happening… |

Domi does not have any movement clauses in his contract so potential destinations are wide open for him. With one retention spot left, I cannot see him not moving. Calgary and Winnipeg still have lots of Cap room. I can see one of those teams picking him up to counter moves made by teams in their divisions. |

I could see Minnesota adding him. They seem to have more need for a center than Calgary or Winnipeg. I had thought that would be the landing spot for Toews. |
