Poorly phrased, is he still alive? |

Thank you for that link. It’s good to hear a loud voice saying these things and AG summed up our frustration perfectly. - mikeyo27
Nah. They love the rangers took over. Surely the $ was flowing in concessions and whatnot. They absolutely loved it |

No, he's correct. Capfriendly is showing Deslauries buried.
This is why guys like Deslauries are given extra term in FA when an organization likes them and deems them reliable. They can be turned into 15th forward very easily without much of a cap penalty. The term typically prevents other teams looking for depth from grabbing him as you move him up and down. Spacing out their salary over more years also makes it easier to front load and then easier to buy out if that gives you more flexibility down the line. - mochoson
Heaven forbid, we wouldn't want another team to grab Deslauriers. It was an asinine signing from day one.

Every passing day, every game, everytime the GM opens his stupid mouth it is a new low for the Flyers.
Yeah, how can CF talk about trade "ideas" when he was asked about whether he would gut the team, and his reply was "he is listening to ideas"... what ? He needs to get his own ideas and sell them to other GMs - not listen to theirs, which are conceived with their needs in mind and not our own. Tells me he doesn't have any ideas. We need a GM who has a plan and has a strong enough personality to execute it. - BluehorseShoe64
I can barely believe what a disaster this franchise has become. The only hope I have is that someone cleans house but why would they. When arizona has a better plan than you it’s time to make changes.

If you look at Risto's shift there, he had just jumped on the ice too soon and had to get off quickly to avoid a too many men penalty. Then, on the ensuing play, he got turned around by Tarasenko. He was not nearly in position when the shot was taken. Watch the replay...
Tells me that if he WAS in position, maybe he snuffs the shot. Basically, he got beat while providing a partial screen to his goalie and maybe a slight deflection. I put the question out there - try and be the goalie who has to pick up a sniper wrist shot in traffic. Hart does it so much, we take it for granted. He missed this one. But he made a bunch of other great saves. The story this season is the number of high % shots we give up vs. the % offensive zone time & chances. Hard to win games when you give up shots in high % areas of the ice while getting so few of your own. - BluehorseShoe64
The last part is a great assessment of our season. Every once ima while I read a comment somewhere that throws hart under the bus. It’s not on him. With a better team, I think he’s a legit number one. Who knows what the real ceiling is on him until he gets that? |

If we can just confuse TDA a little, he might think he's on the other team and swing at another teammate. |

Why didn't feltcher send Ellis contract to the coyotes?
This guy is so damn incompetent
Coyotes needed dead space to get to the floor anyway |

1. Yotes were just looking to reach the floor for the deadline to possibly move more bodies out... not looking to get stuck with somebody for the next 4-seasons,
2. There's still a chance Ryan Ellis comes back, which would be problematic for a team that's budgeting relies on insurance picking up the full salary hit,
3. Chuck Fletcher is too busy trying to convince somebody, anybody, to take Braun and JVR. |

That's true. I forgot he had 4 more seasons. I thought it was only 2 for some reason. Pipe dreams, I guess
