Those spots between Hart's arms and body are his achilleas. Gives up more goals between the arms than anywhere else. |

I have to admit that I felt that was a pretty weak goal too. That's now a couple of OT goals lately that have been rather soft on Hart. I mean, Tarasenko was by himself and had no passing options. Get square to the shooter and stop the damn puck! That one wasn't really on Risto in my eyes, but I realize that everyone wants to make him the whipping boy on here. I thought Hart played well, so not ripping him, but in that instance stop the damn puck! - Phillywhiteout
The last OT goal…ya a bit soft…but it looked last night that the puck went off of Risto’s stick. I will give him the benefit of the doubt on last nights…to me that’s a tough save. |

That’s not a great goal to let in by Hart in OT |

Top of the circle right through him, slightly deflected or not that’s a bad goal. Not like it was tipped after the shot too, it was at release. |

On a brighter side, I did like what I saw in the sample size of Desnoyers. Seemed faster than Cates and more active and physical than Frost. But it was a small sample. |

A giant leap don't you think?? Risto played it well, Hart should have stopped the puck! - jd250
Ristolainen played a good game but he played that OT winning goal about as poorly as it can be played. |

It felt like Tippet played the entire game last night he was out there so much. - jd250
and Hayes was mostly invisible. What’s the thought process with how they’re handling Hayes? There’s no doubt he can get points. Why not put him in a position to do what he does best? The GM implies that they are looking to get rid of him. The coach puts him on the wing and the 4th line. Doesn’t seem like a good way to motivate a guy to perform. Also doesn’t make him more appealing to other teams. Are they just trying to get a rise out of him? Fire him up? Doesn’t seem like it’s working. Maybe the guy just doesn’t have a pulse. He sounds tranquilized in interviews. He looks like he’s bored on the ice. |

Nero has fiddled away while Rome burns.
The market for JVR is pretty much dried up. I predict a 5th round pick at best, or Chuck is forced to take back a contract/scrub which he shouldn't do. I would rather just have the cap space and call it a wash. Though knowing Chuck instead of banking that space he will sign some overpriced player.
There was never a real deadline market for Hayes. I don't see Seeler or Braun going anywhere for anything more than future considerations.
Chuck, as usual, misread the market...so far at least.

Tippett is a helluva young player and he had a dominant game tonite! He is going to be a thorn in our side for a long time! - TommyGTrain
He's been playing well lately. Definitely the Flyers best player since Koneckny went out. The Giroux trade is looking better and better. Unfortunately, the GM (Fletcher) has been absolutely abysmal on everything else. Tippett was probably just a lucky shot in the dark for him. |

Maybe playing everyone last night tells us he can’t even get the “gimme” trades right. |

I wonder if GM torts cant trade Hayes if they get dumb and buy him out. |

I'm less scared of the TDL than I am of how many draft picks Chuck will inevitably have to package w/ Kevin Hayes to get him out of Torts' sight.

He’s one of those reclamation projects that Fletch is hoping saves his job. Tip has worked, he looks to be progressing…Bellows another one not so much. |

Don't worry. Boston is going to take him. Don't you know that he's from that area? That's a very important quality in a player with Boston. |

I’d rather he do nothing than taking back another crap contract. If he’s not fired at the end of this season, I’m done.
Gonna be rooting for the Canes in the playoffs. I’ve always been huge fan of Brindy and watching Ghost skate with the Cup would be the ultimate FU to Cuckles. |

Hopefully Fletch is fired in the coming months…I liked Torts comments last night saying it’s the organizations fault including his own. We all know Torts has been here for 10 minutes so it stands to reason whom he is actually blaming….funny I’ve never heard Fletch take ANY responsibility for this calamity. It’s just like a cloud would be lifted if they cut ties totally with this assclown. |
