Maybe they slacked off for a few minutes during regulation, and he's just getting his time back.

You think Chuck really wants to trade Hayes? Torts refuses to play Hayes in his intended role and now Chuck's in the pressers talking about trading his own biggest UFA acquisition. Doesn't seem like a guy with the final word on everything.

So who has the final say of Hayes or anyone is traded?

DeAngelo and Sanheim were signed after Torts became coach. I don't think Torts put together those deals.

Now when it comes to lineups and ice time, Torts is in full control of who plays which is why we saw Fletcher and Flahr's boy Hayden Hodgson buried in game 1, never to see an NHL rink again.

In 23-24 he'll get a cool 800 grand to play for the Phantoms.

I have a feeling that a lot of us will be disappointed after this deadline passes.

I would have thought JVR would be traded by now. I guess it still could happen....

Different term remains ? Incompetence? Bad cell coverage in Philly?

Columbus didn't even have to pay to dump him there lol... they got a pick and player back.

Edit: nvm, just the player. The pick was a 6th going from the Jackets to the 'Yotes.

Has it been reported that Voracek is not going to play again?

He ruled out earlier this year that he wouldn’t play this year and has to worry about his health as he has had concussions in the past. So guessing he will not play again.

I applaud Gargano for calling out Comcast to sell the team today. Last night was a disgrace with the crowd last night. Not sure it will make a difference, but it was a stance that needed to.be taken.

I think he's done. He's out all this year with a concussion and only has one year left.

[Adam Herman] Of the $67.2M cap hit the Arizona Coyotes now have on the roster, 57.6% of that is allocated to pseudo-retirements, cap retention via trade, and contract dumps. To repeat, that is 57.6%.

[Frank Seravalli] Yotes trading for Jakub Voracek’s contract now gives them ultimate flexibility in next 24 hours to move core pieces such as Nick Schmaltz or Lawson Crouse, as they see fit, and not have to worry about the salary cap floor.

Same thing as the Weber move. Voracek is owed 7.5M for one more year after this year. Ellis has 4 more years and is owed 24M in salary over those years. One of these things is not like the other.

Ellis could be moved eventually if it was insured.
