One more might put this one away. Leafs need to move a defenseman by tomorrow. Too many on the roster and there needs to be cohesion between the defensive pairings. Schenn should stay with Rielly, to take care of his many mistakes. Schenn has been solid tonight.

I agree. I get that some might view Schenn (and rightfully so) as an extra or depth - but sometimes a player just fits well and compliments another. I like the way he and Rielly have paired as well. And it’s always good to have a guy that’s tough infront or your net come playoff time. Good on PK too

I think I have a man crush on Luke Schenn. Maybe it’s an Ex thing but what I’ve seen tonight from him is something this team needs and didn’t have at all. He’s cross checking guys in front, making life miserable and right in there mucking it up.

The almost late hit on Kadri with some additional Muckkng it up and FU’s sends a message. I feel like Leaf players will all feel a couple inches taller and a bit tougher knowing Luke is there to back them up.

I kinda want to see him get in a face punching contest with someone not named Lucic…..lol.

On another note, Ottawa looked very good against the Rangers. I thought Chychrun played a decent game. Not bad after being out of the lineup for a month. If they can just keep up their momentum, that might be the second wildcard team going forward. I'm wondering if they'll make a move tomorrow. Austin Watson probably gets a suspension for a match penalty in the first. Gotta love these teams that make a late run and causes problems for a top seed.
