A lot of it was driven by the forwards too, which i liked. The D held up in their own end which was great but the forwards did their job. And just munched minutes in the O-zone. Accairi, Kampf, Kerf, etc, all really well done. - UsernameUnknown
For sure. If they can lock that down, I'll be truly happy. |

Holl wasn't terrible. On the ice the last minute as well. Very trusted. |

Brodie and McCabe look good!! - Bullot
Real good given its McCabes second game, only going to get better from there. I've decided on playoff pairings now:
McCabe/Brodie
Rielly/Liljegren
Giordano/Schenn
It's been decided. 👀 |

He had an important block. But he was scrambly and there were a number of poor decisions or lost battles that I saw - particularly in one shift around the half-way mark of the third. Bearing in mind that I was my kid's hockey game and only caught the third. |

I would not argue with that. If they keep Holl (which, God help me, Gustafsson can go and we can keep Holl).

Still too many turnovers in our own zone being fancy. Also a turnover at the Flames blueline that could too often come back to burn us |

He wasn't that good. But I have seen worse games from him too. I think he was an adequate 6 guy tonight. Schenn struggled a bit too but also did the good things he always does which was nice to see. I missed having a guy that can clear the front of the net and tenderize guys deep in the zone. |

Kind of feel bad for Gustaf tbh. First shift on your new team and you get a bounce like that on poop ice?
And another poop bounce where he could have had a really nice chance too and jut hopped away from him. |

Speaking of Tampa, they still look out of sync. Still too many shots being given up. 5 points up on them is a decent place to be. Make sure to take out the trash in Vancouver and then try to out defense New Jersey. Subconsciously, you have to try and get ahead of them in the overall standings, just incase you end up playing them, in the Conference finals. The Leafs just need to hone their line combinations and use their defensive depth, giving everyone playing time, down the stretch. Keep them fresh and ready to go.
