speculation is that a goalie my be arriving - dmnted
Makes sense to me. If you can go over 23 and you've got an extra 850k in cap space ..why not add a 3rd veteran goalie for insurance. Send Woll down, let Murray take his time. Lankinen or the guy from SJ make some sense.

I think the playoffs in the east are going to come down to pre-game hype.
Whoevers working the playoff pre-game music has to have their poop together. No (frank)ing around. I want AC/DC, Kiss, GnR, Metallica, Queen ...all the big ones. No (frank)ing excuses.
I grew up in a hockey town in southern Ontario so there's no question in my mind that RoR of Clinton Ontario should be bringing the pre-game hype.
Yeeeeow! Let's (frank)ing go!! - The Law
My men's team (in the 2000s) would blast Slide it In by Whitesnake before every game.

I think the problem is there isn't as much money to be made as Bally Sports thought there would be, so anyone who moves in to fill the vacuum will not be willing to pay nearly as much.
You're looking at lower revenues for local packages.
And my pessimistic view is "much, much, much lower revenues." - Atomic Wedgie
I could turn the NHL into the most watched sport on television if they'd give me the rights to the on ice microphones so the audience in the US could here the poop talk live and unedited. Easy (frank)ing peasy to get an audience in this piss hole country.

Any country would watch that. - underhill14
i would pay 1000 a season for no commentary, no filter ice and bench mics

yes! Whitesnake and some Def Leopard should be in there too. Motley Crue! - The Law
Can you even imagine how awesome it would be if we dropped Hall and Oates (who I love, by the way) and made the chorus of Slide it In as our goal song?
Fast forward to about 54 seconds:
The lyrics even make sense - we just slid the puck in the net!

Easy for you to say. I live in Alberta, amongst unbearable Oiler fans. The Leafs come here once a year at most, so every bodies talking about the game with the Leafs! A good ticket is $500-$700 to see the game! So you drive 2 hours, fight the traffic, settle into your $700 seat, and watch that crap only to drive 2hrs back home rehashing what you just watched. But it’s ok, they might be back next year and you can do it again. - Bullot
Sorry Bullot, that sucks. Just the "living in Alberta" part is bad enough.
I used to see Leafs v Kings every year. One year the game was (frank)ing awful. Had my son and a few of his friends so that was the only redeeming part for me.
Well, except for the $ being ridiculous, since I had to buy them all jerseys, the parking (frank)ing annoying and the traffic in and out of downtown LA, (frank) balls.
Nice ...saw them in the 90's then again 6-7 yrs ago in the Hardrock in Vegas on a boys trip. Different experience but it was a blast. - The Law
I was 8 when they were in their heyday, saw them for the first time about 6 years ago, probably 200 feet back in the 4th section of standing room in the middle of a muddy field at parc jean drapeau in montreal

Seriously though 228 at his height is (frank)ing small. Probably lifts with machines, which is a machine lifting not him, if he even lifts, which he obviously doesn't.
