Not much of a chance for him. Bad turnovers and piss poor coverage on the goals

Top 2 lines invisible, not going to win much with that happening

Terrible game, Igor human, Panarin is terrible and Kane for over 20 minutes of ice was invisible.

TJ where is that chemistry?? All I see is some water and dirt, which makes mud!!

The ice has been horrible, people falling consistently all game long

TD Garden’s ice is notoriously brutal. It’s a joke.

Lol it’s been 6 years since they have played together and still haven’t practiced yet. Can we give Kane and Panarin more than 2 games before we say it doesn’t work

they (frank)ing need it. pp1 needs to be broken up to split the talent around. everyone just looks for the perfect play even more now with kane here

They just need some practice time. I really don’t think we need to over react yet. I know this is rangers land though lol

Tend to agree, but a lot of it stems from Panarin making stupid decisions trying to make long cross ice passes that have no chance. He needs to be a lot smarter with the puck

I said it from the get go… Panarin, Kane and Tarasenko should have a PP all to themselves to pass and dangle and do whatever it is they want.

PP1: Kreider, Mika, Chytil, Kakko, Fox (LAF)
PP2: Panarin, Trochek, Kane, Tarasenko, Trouba

Its not just bad decisions, but the passes have no mustard on them to get through the middle of the ice. Theyre lazy/turds through the middle.

The coaches are over thinking PP1, it worked just fine for a while. PP1 should be all about getting Mika open for the slapper and Kreider screening the goalie. Thats it. Kakko is a possession monster so he will make sure we keep the puck, LAF is plenty good enough a passer to facilitate with Fox or you go Chytil who can be your slot shooter.

PP2 can just free wheel and do whatever they want.

Make Panarin and Kane earn their time together.

Not for nothing but these guys are superstars and they have had almost 20 minutes of PP time and in 2 games and they havent produced a point yet. Im not talking about pixie dust or instant magic but they have shown nothing at all.

I still have some hope but Kane hasnt shown any kind of dazzle at all either.

Everyone is right though, this isnt 2017, theyre trying to rekindle a connection they had when they were in their 20s. They need to grow up. They need to play a style of hockey that suits their age but also is inclusive of the 3 other guys on the ice with them.

I'm shocked that instead of passing in likewise manner, Panarin actually even took that final SOG of the game with just 2 seconds left in being down 4-2.
