I’m giving the D a bit of a pass. This is not a normal way to be playing (with 4-5 guys). They looked spent last night - Slimtj100
I see that. Tough thing about schedule is that 8 of remaining 20 games are against teams fighting for playoff spot in Eastern Confer. 7 games against Eastern teams in top 6. 6other games against CLB, Wash, MTL and 1 against Nash. No cake walk

Im not gonna put too much stock in the games the last 2 weeks.
Weve been playing a man down pretty much all of them. We acquired 2 new starters in Senko and Mikkola who will need to adjust to our team. Senko himself said in an interview hes been adjusting to the speed of the game. Now that it seems hes finally adjusted, we acquire another new top 6 player in Kane who will undoubtedly have to adjust to the speed and style as well. All the while, we dont have Lindgren or Miller right now, plus Motte is likely out. |

Can they put Motte on LTIR even if he doesn’t need it? I get that he’ll be out for the season but who cares if they can get another body and at the same time add to the playoff depth once Motte comes back |

It certainly looks like they're avoiding it with Lindgren. It's possible with Motte, I suppose. Still very little info on the severity of his injury.
I don't get it. |

Im sure that they can, one thing with concussions is its totally subjective. They cant measure how concussed someone is. So if Motte wants to be a team player he can say hes feeling the symptoms and theres no way for anyone to actually confirm it. |

Once incident created that whole horrible draft scenario. Carcillo pummeling Gaborik while the Rangers stood around and watched - mdw7413

9th toughest strength of schedule til end of the season. That 4 game stretch coming up in mid-March where we play Pit 3 times and Wsh once will be huge. |

Mentioned this in the previous blog. I mean the dolphins let tua comeback after having his brain scrambled vs the bills. |

At this point wether Kane is acclimated or them playing with 5 D etc. The 2 biggest problems are the wingers have been awful in the DZone and they can’t get pucks out. The D keeps scrambling because pucks can’t get out let alone get out under control. Second as of late their neutral zone turn overs have been terrible. |

The NHL doesnt have a great TBI track record but it's hard to be worse than the NFL |

It's always tough getting info out of Gallant's NYR, but since the roster management moves started it's been full on playoff style information lockdown. |

Makes too much sense to not do it. Could call up Cuylle and maybe get a D via trade half retained for a few bucks, and a pick |

Funny thing is, our d core was really good during those mid 2010s runs. Imagine if we had tarasenko those years. Hindsight really. I just remember clark being quite high on tarasenko after their meetings leading up to the draft

Yup, wear down the other teams defense. People should watch next game how many times rangers pass up a hit on a defenseman on the boards with the puck. They stick check and skate right by. The other teams defense get an easy out cause they dont have to worry about physical contact. - mdw7413
The kid line can combine the cycle game and the pretty goals!! Best of both worlds. |

Road trip could be good for them too. 4 days off will be what the doctor ordered and then they’ll be on the way. Getting some practice time and rest |

NFL is a disaster with it. I mean anyone with a brain could tell tua was badly concussed week 3 in the buffalo game yet the independent neurologist cleared him and the coach staff allowed him back on the field in the 2nd half? Then Christmas day they completely missed it. 2nd half his passing was completely erratic. |

Absolutely. They do a pretty good job. The other 2 lines, not so much. And its not even about throwing a big hit, its just battle. |

Hell, the NFL league office tried as hard as they could to restart the Bills game after Hamlin died on the field. Not that it was putting anyone else in danger but that's just where their head is at |

Gretzky's wife got knocked cold by a pane of glass from Samulesson and he kept playing. Stop being so dramatic..... |
