Probably in the ballpark. Mitts has a little more time to UFA and they could (probably will) wait a year to do anything.

If he isn't in their long term plans, his value should be up and the timing is good. Can't be too picky about timing if you want to flip an F for D. I'd be open to it.

you're right about not wanting a player like him. but for what this team lacks, and his price point, it's becoming clear that this may have very well been a clever move.

in the summer, you get more talent on the back end and shed bryson, clague and hopefully joker.

Yea I think it evened out somewhat by the end but the trip on okposo was brutal. Had Tampa scored there it would have been really ugly

I'm not much of a referree basher, but the reffing was terrible this afternoon.

Really felt like the nhl wanted Tampa to win the game.
