Look at this, Donna is getting all giddy over the late season push.
I think Nightie and Lefty have some room for another member of their guzzling squad. - Reubenkincade
That's all that's left in this thread, the 5 fans who think this is a good team, just a few tweaks. |

It’s about the process, they’re starting to play better. Who cares where they end up. Hopefully they can get rid of the 20 million dollars in bad cap that is Miller, OEL & Garland this summer. They’re not rebuilding so work on the details, which appears to be getting better. - LeftCoaster

Something to keep an eye on…
Joni Jurmo’s Liiga season is over. His team missed the playoffs.
Jurmo could sign his ELC with the Canucks and come join Abbotsford for a playoff run.
It’s up to the two sides to see if they can make it work. We’ve heard Jurmo wants to come to NA.
The Canucks have always been high on him.
Not a lot has changed since he was drafted though. Physical elements to play the game but poor decisions on the ice are so bad.
Healthy scratched or playing 3rd pairing minutes most nights in a league that is below the AHL in terms of quality these days. |

Then he can pull a Lindros or just wait two years till he hits free agency. |

That will be the 1st round pick in the 10-15 range.

No no, you trade those picks to fill the gap you're creating by trading said picks.. but with more cap cost, then you trade more picks to free up cap space, so you can fill the gap even harder |

Rutherford is going for the Avalanche method instead now. Didn't you know? |

2 of OEL, BB, Garland gone, things would look better. Just pucker up for the cost.

Ryan Henderson
@RJHenderson7
It’s truly incredible how bang on the prediction of a new coach bump, soft schedule and Demko’s return were going to provide yet another false hope ending to a #Canucks season.

Exactly. It’s the contract. They need to limit these contracts to 5 years. |
