Woo looked very solid. Nothing flashy, no mistakes. The coach turned to him in the important minutes. Rathbone looks good also but makes some intelligent plays, but some come at a high risk. It is like he knows where the other player should be but then the other player doestn't figure it out and it turns out to be a dangerous play. You can see why teams have interest in him.

Hogs is a step above everyone , both teams. Always something going on when he is on the ice. Needs better finish.

Silovs looks like he can step into the NHL any time.

I could see that when he was up, he seems lost in the pace, he’s at least 2 years away if at all. It’s going to take a lot of work.

Yeah don’t expect Raty in NHL any time soon. Reason why Isles let him go. Canucks will have to find other solutions for center help.

Which is why I doubt they are trading JTM off season unless they get back a young center ready to play in the NHL.

This is draft and develop. Tried to explain over the years that it doesn't go from 1 player to 5 players per draft. Goes from 1 to 2. If you are real good, 3 once in a while.

Drafting is getting better. I've seen in recent studies of newer draft classes over a decade from 08-17. League average for the "regular" 200+ players is now up to 26%.

Earlier in the 2000s decade studies, it used to be around 40 players to play 200+ games per draft but with more teams and analytics, it's raised to around 55 players per draft. Obviously dependant on the strength of the draft.
