I'm 50/50 on that. They have very little cap to work with. Unless the picks are going to be for trading away bad contracts.

If they didn't want them or were not going to make them, I doubt they would be trading for them and they own 3 from other teams. It also wouldn't make sense for them to not have draft picks with their large development team.

I'd expect more American's and Swedes. Komisarek is in America east area by the sounds of it. Samuelsson over in Sweden.

The cap challenge is moving out say Garland & Myers. Then it opens up options. Garland for highest picks possible. Myers retain for a year if needed for a neutral return. That is what they’ll maybe push for.

OEL will be back. Aquilini isn’t shelling out $29MM for a player not to play. Most he has paid was around $4.5MM on a buyout I believe

MORE SMURFS! He is putting up some numbers. Hard to ignore. This team doesn't need to value prospects that score anymore though, they need value in being able to play physical and compete at both ends of the ice.

Calum Ritchie or Charlie Stramel. May not be fancy but they are what the team is going to need in the future. Trade down to get one and get back into the 2nd round.
