Bedards coming here, get ready for the meltdown lol - Bettmanhatesus
I get a Cole Caufield feeling with Bedard. I am not sure Canucks would keep him. I know it sounds dumb but I think they want a big center.

Careful what you wish for, we may pick ahead of you guys.
Get better odds on the Bedard sweeps. - K-man25
If so, Treliving won't be making the pick! |

That team has a lot of holes. Matthews is not playing to potential. I don't see them going far.

Trelivings taking Bettman job, he’ll be spinning the wheel.
One last favour for the Flames. |

Bedard is next level. Canucks want a big C, but that kid is going to be so good it won't matter. |

At least they don’t have to give Boston that first round bye. |

What? Lol. Bedard is the single most valuable player in the NHL and he hasn’t played a game |

I get that he is very good. I have seen him play and all, no question at that level he is in a league of his own. I just think back to Lafrennierre and the hype. The kid will probably be a thirty goal guy a year but as we have all said here we need to fill other areas. We need a stud C and some better D. He would be very exiting for sure but I think the sooner we fill the D and get that center is when we take a very big step.
I also realize I am probably the only person on the planet to make suck a bold or stupid statement.
I would definitely be calling Seattle if they would like to trade Berniers Wright and Fluery. |

I actually hope that the choice is made for them and they get Fantilli, but I have this feeling he’ll end up in Arizona. |

Very bold! I don’t think there’s a GM in the league that would pass on Bedard. His junior numbers are much better than Laf’s, Look how he dominated the world juniors as a 17 year old. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen that. Plus he’s from Vancouver, what a marketers dream. |

I still think it is a pipedream to think we are drafting top 10
The surge of wins and the lack of interest in drafting on this team has not given me good feelings about the prospect pool. |

Typical Canuck fan, can’t see the star through the clouds.
Nobody would hope for Fantilli when they have a chance at Bedard. |

I get all that.
I really think Canucks are going to be very very active this summer. I think we might be in for a few shocks and surprises. You just don't trade two top 40 picks without a plan in place.

It's pretty clear they are playing for jobs (see Myer's for example), and to be spoilers leading up to the playoff's.

Canucks can still end with the 2nd highest point totals in the league, the only team they can't catch is the incredibly amazing Bruins.
