No, I didn't because the Canucks played .600 plus hockey last season but were a below 50% corsi team in probably 70% of those games.

Which is why most said that the team was not good enough but others said .600 hockey, you can't ignore that. They did and the team massively sucked again.

There are obviously other numbers than just corsi. xGF% and such are also a good indicator of puck possession.

It's proven that puck the better puck possession teams win the Stanley cup. It's not even remotely up for debate. It's like 10 out of the last 12 winners have been in the top 10 and 5 in the top 5. The last two that weren't, absolutely flipped the switch in the playoffs and were #1. Pitt and Washington.

I mean Corsi says Canucks are not good. Same thing Donna said. xGF% says the Canucks are improving slightly. Same thing you said. Canucks have a better than average finishing percentage. Donna says the same thing.
