Don’t know much about Hronek, but it makes me wonder why Stevie Y would trade a 25 year old right shot D when he’s trying to put together a team to win. I get all the hype in here because of lack of top 4 D, but still Detroit traded him when they’re in the same boat.

It’s a puzzling trade for both sides. I have some hope as Stevie Y is clearly a brutal GM so hopefully he (frank)ed up again. They have been rebuilding for 8 years, have less core pieces than us and are starting over

Ya, I just found the injury reports on him... I'm mistaken on his injury... he returned from the hit and was injured in practice recently with "upper body".

Hope it's not related but I am not as worried now obviously. All along I thought he was out from that hit.

The thing I liked about this week is there is now clarity. They have pretty well told us do not expect a rebuild.

Does not mean we like their answer but at least now we won't be sitting around waiting for it.

They've been telling us no rebuild since day 1... also talking about draft picks not being their focus.... followed by doing nothing on TDL, no contracts out at the draft, then adding middle aged UFA's, resigning Miller and Boeser... followed by trading away high picks....

At no stage did I hear or see rebuild.

A rebuild is when you were once great or good. It gets blown up & called scorched earth. Retool is more the better term where rebuild is out of place & not concise.

Arizona cannot rebuild cuz there was never anything built. They can hoard picks all they like but til they put it all together & turn it into something worth admiring it’s all semantics. They are & always will be a destination for cheap tickets for fans of the other team. 😂😂🤪
