Why should players care about anything that’s not on the ice? They play hockey not run teams. They can sign here or not. They get paid to play. None are Lebron James.

I agree with your comments but Canucks can change all those bad feelings with a winning streak.

If they put up a lot of goals and play better D and look like an exciting young team all will be forgotten very quickly. Players care about winning and scoring.

Might be cheaper to get him signed in the summer....

Partially yes. I know you are joking but I don't think they will be big name hunting. I think they feel fine with their own big name players.

You have to see who has money to spend in the offseason and would a player choose Arizona Columbus Ottawa or even Chicago over Vancouver? I am not sure they would.

Aside from that Canucks have a reputation of over paying players, and that is very attractive to UFAs.
