Nice. - VANTEL
Sounds as if Juulsen will be extended also. At least that's what his agent said on Donnie and Dhali. Might spell the end of Burroughs. |

5 Canucks Thoughts
Compher @ 5 mil
Engvall @ 4 mil
Severson @ 5.5 mil
Gavrikov @ 4.5 mil
Dumolin @ 4.5 mil
Gudas @ 3 mil
Reimer @ 1.5 mil
Gets you in at 83 mil- 1.5 under the likely 84.5 cap

I like Burroughs but hopefully an upgrade is on the way. If not he is the number 7.

Faber says the Canucks are extremely active in NCAA free agents. Not so much in Euro's due to lack of talent.
Names a few of the much older D.

Itās more exaggerated than it is. Media reaches just to be relevant but they are not. They will be compliant. |

I'm just wondering how they were effective on the forecheck? I saw them get in on the forecheck but there wasn't much for sustained pressure from it. There wasn't a bunch of turnovers that led to grad A chances from it. Nashville had a pretty good exit rate.
You throw 42 hits in a game compared to the other teams 19. I'd say one team had the puck much much more often than the other. - manvanfan
In regards to your first paragraph, this team has never played this style before, so they are learning wtf they are supposed to do when they do get the puck from forechecking, baby steps.
In regards to your last paragraph, that is the typical answer from someone who relies way too much on analytics and doesn't actually see the physicality in the offensive zone.
In regards to your whole comment, nice troll job. |

Very inspiring prospects. Sure ppl like their shiny high draft picks & will surely blow off this report based on that alone. Those who havenāt tracked prospects just donāt care outta hand.
Will any of these prospects be earth shakers? No but not far from some actually being NHLers or at least pushing the competition level in the organization.
McDonough will get his audition.
Karlsson a real shot in camp.
Hog a shot but outside looking in maybe.
The rest still developing & 2 or more years from having a real shot if continue to improve.
The farm is really going to look good & for many years. Best optimism for the entire organization. |

It's not really a troll job.
Bruce stated he didn't use analytics but did look at them to see if they painted the same picture that he saw. Usually did.
Yours don't seem to paint the same picture.

Costmar has to be signed this year and as one of the only right handed centers in the entire system. Should be signed just because.
Van should push to sign Truscott as well. Most of Michigan D are going to be gone. He's played top pairing all year, he is probably ready for the next step.

I sure hope that Hronek has the same affect on Vancouver that his trade for Pitt to NJ has had. |
